Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was born in Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. The father of the child, Paul Felix is an ordained minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix showed a flair for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. After her first audition and placing in the top two at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships, for 200 meters in a mere 10 weeks. Felix agreed to sign a contract with Adidas for a professional career with Adidas in 2003. She then enrolled at University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix won her first Olympic Medal in the 2004 Summer Olympics held at Athens Greece. She broke an Junior World Record taking 200m in 22.18 second. The 2005 Helsinki World Championships saw her becoming the youngest female to win the 200 meter race. In 2007 she defended this title and beat her Jamaican competitor Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at her first Olympics in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo always finishing in the top three places in all her competitions.
